In EQDKP when you leave the reward for a raid blank it retrieves the default reward from the event. Wondering if you can add that for boss events and such? So as time moves on you can devalue bosses that are simply on farm status, and make the harder bosses worth more. |

I think that something similar is already implemented. I will provide some background on how things currently work, please tell me if this is how you want it or how you would want the current system improved.
Currently, every time an event is added manually into the program its name and reward are remembered. So if one later enters another event with the same name then the reward is automatically completed to the previous one. With the default settings this also affects parsed events (events found in the log) that have the reward set to 0. They are automatically given the reward of the last previously manually entered event with the same name.
So if I were to enter and event named "Foo" with the reward 50 DKP manually into the parser and then inside the game create another event named "Foo" (or in CT RT's case kill a boss named "Foo") without assigning any reward (which is the case with CT RT) then it would automatically be given the reward of 50 DKP upon parsing the log.
This event reward then propagates to EQDKP when uploaded. Events with the same name can have different rewards, the rewards are assigned to each individual event and are displayed individually in EQDKP. So in EQDKP I might have previously uploaded an event named "Foo" with a reward of 100 DKP, but that does not stop me from uploading the newly parsed event with the same name but just a reward of 50 DKP. |
