I think I have found a bug in the software.
I am running with time DKP, and we award 10 DKP for every 30 minute interval. The parser is set up and work fine. Last raid it returned 6 intervals, which is correct.
If I upload now, it all works fine, and everyone gets 60 DKP.
If I compress the intervals for the last raid now, I get first interval at 40 DKP and two intervals at 10 DKP each. Just as expected.
If I instead changes the name of the raid under "reward intervals" and then compress the intervals. I then get 3 intervals of 10 DKP, that means I am suddenly missing 20 DKP.
Let me know if you need my config or any other info to reconstruct the error.

Please send me or post your config and the log you parsed. |

I am really sorry about that. I wanted to make sure I could reproduce the bug today. So with the same config file, and same log to parse I tried again. But I can't reproduce the bug.
So unless I can reproduce it later, I guess there is no bug.
Right now I have found a way to make the parser crash though. If you edit a reward interval, such as the raid name, but don't exit the editor proporly, meaning that you still have a cursor in the field. And then choose to compress intervals. The parser will crash.
However, with the recent luck of my bug reporting. I will make a few more tests before concluding anything.
Sorry for wasting your time.

I can't reproduce it with the configuration I'm using (the edit is cancelled and the intervals are compressed) . Please send me (or post) your config and what OS you are using. |

I'm afraid I can't reproduce the crash bug under Linux. I do not have access to a Windows XP machine to test on so any attempt to fix it would be pure guesswork.
I hope that it doesn't pose too much of an inconvenience until I (or someone else) get a chance to test it under XP (and I can't make any promise as to when that would be, probably months). At least the bug can be avoided. |
