Heads up about events in 1.3.10

I'm sure that someone is going to ask at some point, so I'm going to answer now.

The partial event-based support provided in 1.3.10 is connected to the participation in intervals. Whether a person has participated in an event or not is at the moment decided by whether or not the person is present in the same interval as the event. I understand that what you really want is an event that reflects the de facto participation at the point of the event, but that won't be possible until the suggestion about complete event-based support is implemented.

The underlying reason as to why is that the parsing directly extracts the participation in the form that the time-based intervals want it. A step has to be added in between the parsing and the log creation to allow events.
