|
|
After a few operations, the menu bar "drops" out of place and becomes vertical rather than horizontal, making it tricky to select the menu items. This occurs on both the curent main release and the dev build that fixes the http:// preprocessor problem.
I know you aren't able to test the Win32 stuff, but please add this to the bug tracker.

Thanks for reporting this. Could you please give an example of a sequence of operations that always causes this, or is it random? It has been entered as defect DLPC45.

I'll try to experiment, I haven't been actively checking, just notice that it happens pretty quickly.

Actually, currently, a single operation is sufficient to cause this to occur - I just go to Edit->Preferences, as the Preferences dialog opens the menu becomes vertical.

Hm, to be honest I'm not really sure what could be causing it. Closing the preferences only causes the interface to be updated, no resizing is done (which could have otherwise possibly explained it).
Does resizing the window have any effect after the menu has become vertical?
Are you using Windows XP?
Additionally: has anyone else experienced this?

Never for me (XP, obviously) and with massive use and change of preferences and so on...
Bye, Kol.
