I'm trying to set up EQDKP for the first time for my guild for WoW. I'm running Windows XP. I installed Sun's Java JRE, and then installed and ran the DKP Log Parser version 1.4.1 without any obvious problems. I connected to a EQDKP web hosting site and the "test" button in EQDKP seems to indicate that everything is ok there. I installed CT_Raidtracker version 1.5.0beta11 (MLDKP) and that seems to load and work properly. I ran Karazhan with my guild (and began and ended the raid a few times in CT_Raider to see what it did). When we were done I logged off of WoW. In DKP Log Parser I attempted to parse CT_RaidTracker.lua (located at C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<account name>\SavedVariables) I got an error message, which I will attach here. In the log parser preferences, I used the settings for World of Warcraft (CT RT oldformat 0, boss kills as events). This pattern is set under "Join/Leave". I have the file input type set to XML. I feel like I'm missing something pretty basic in the process, but I'm new to it all, and I haven't been able to figure out what else to do, though I have made a good attempt to look through all the postings in the forums. Any help would be appreciated.

In case it's helpful, here is the copy of ct_raidtracker.lua I am working with. I had to rename it ct_raidtracker.lua.txt in order to upload it here.

I gave up on the .lua file and just copied and pasted the "dkp string" from inside ct_raidassist in the game into the File->Parse String box. I seemed to have better results with that, so I guess I'll try to do it that way, and treat the .lua file more as a backup if the game crashes midraid.

That's the way to use it, the LUA file contains gibberish the parser can't recognize, at least for what I remember (I haven't a string or a LUA file here atm).
Maybe that's the problem of the other thread, too, I haven't managed to test yesterday's night string from Tempest Keep cause I forgot to extract it, I'll try tonight...
Bye, Kol.
