Status: Included in version 1.4.0

This one is for the future, I think, since there's a LOT of work changing this sorta thing around...

Writing up the help file, I'm doing a small amount of cleanup as I go through (typos, etc). I'm also trying to add in more explanation to the areas that confused me and my guildies when we first started using the program.

As I've subsequently discovered, DKPLP is really easy to use, but some of the terminology can be a bit confusing.

Is it possible to rename 'log' (as used in the GUI) to something else? Currently 'log' has two meanings: the physical log file generated by EQ/EQ2/WoW, as well as the timestamped lists of attendees created in the GUI.

So trying to explain how "the GUI creates a log upon parsing the log" is doing my head in. Wink

Can we call the GUI version of 'log' a snapshot or a checkpoint or attendance or ... something else?

The need for "logs" as a snapshot has kind of disappeared with version 1.4 . Now there's only participation intervals (which might need a better name) on which reward intervals and events base their participation. Subsequently many configuration options have been renamed to reflect this change, for instance

Code:
rO Default log grace period (seconds) -> Default reward interval padding
rO Log grace periods (from first interval) -> Reward interval padding (from first interval)
rO Interval size (minutes) -> Reward interval size (minutes)
rO Log grace period for completing log -> Padding for completing reward interval
rO Add completing log -> Add completing reward interval

But there are still a fair bit of terminology that has to be established at some point. I know that I'm for instance been using "completion interval" which should probably be "completing reward interval" now. Also I have switched between "attendence", "participation" and "participants". I'm sure there are more examples throught the configuration documentation.
