|
|
The testing has been completed, the contents of this thread is therefor out of date.
About half of the functionality in the coming DKP Log Parser client version 1.3.10 has now been completed and development builds can be downloading at the bottom of the download page.
If anyone would like to help test them then please read the news entry on the subject first. Please post any errors found, observations or suggestions about things that should be altered here.
The following is the changelog so far since 1.3.9:
| Quote: |
* Capped the high participation bonus threshold at 100 (percent).
* Added an option for setting the server interface url to a custom value: "Server"->"Server software interface".
* Added an option for automatically compressing the day prior to uploading it: "Server"->"Compress day before uploading".
* The rewards of compressed intervals are now added together. The average weight of the compressed intervals are now used.
* The weights can now only have as many decimal digits as DKP.
* Added an option for setting the name of the raids used to represent high participation bonuses: "Miscellaneous"->"High participation raid name".
* Doubleclicking a selected table row will now deselect it.
* Added a partial event-based support, mainly for hybrid systems. Events which award everyone present at a specific point in time can now be created.
* Added an option for forcing event to be added as raid instead of the native server method (by default off): "Server->"Upload events as raids". Using the EQDKP plugin this means that having the option turned off causes the events to be added as individual adjustments and otherwise as raids.
* The EQ and EQ2 pattern sets have been augmented with an event command that produces an event with the specified name and reward. It is invoked by saying "*Event foo - 10" in any chat channel where "foo" is the name of the event and "10" is the number of DKP that should be rewarded to each participating member.
* An new predefined pattern set has been added for WoW with CT RT using the post 1.25.8 format. The set is like the previous one, but adds an event for every boss kill. |

All planned additions have now been completed and development has been frozen for the last bit of testing. The development builds that are currently uploaded will be released as a stable release in a few days unless any bugs are discovered. The following is the changelog of the changes since the last post.
| Quote: |
* Added a couple of options for turning the autocompletion of event names and rewards on and off. The parsed events' rewards are only autocompleted if the parsed event has reward 0.
* Added events and interval note formats to the exported XML raids.
* Added a new option that decides whether or not the parser should compensate for timezones: "Parse settings"->"Parsed times are in UTC". The checkbox should be checked if the time are already given in UTC timezone.
* Added events and high participation bonuses to the text exports (BB forum code and plain text). The corresponding filtering options (4 in all) have been added to the "Import/Export" tab.
* Added an exporter for wiki markup, raids can be exported to wiki markup via "File"->"Export"->"as wiki markup" in the menu.
* Added options for setting the colors used when exporting to BB code, they can be found under the new "BB Code Export" tab. The default set of colors are "darkblue" for title, "green" for DKP values and "gray" for small text. The colors "lightblue", "lightgreen" and "lightgray" should work well for forums with dark background.
* The parse settings tab has been split into two tabs, one that is still named "Parse settings" and one that is named "Parse settings (non-classic)" which contains all options that do not affect the parse mode named "classic".
* Added an option for setting the minimum duration that a collection interval (the optional interval at the end) has to have. If the collection interval is of shorter duration then it's ignored.
* Added a way to set member aliases, which can be useful if players have alternative characters but want everything registered under one name. An alias works by replacing all occurrences of the alias name with the real name, so inside the program the alternative character will show up as the main character, just as if the main character had participated instead. The aliases are set in the member list on the right side. An alias is created by selecting the person that the alias should map to in the left (member) list and then entering the alias name in the text box and clicking the "Add" button.
* Added head condition conjunctions and disjunctions (AND and OR operators). The only new operator is the OR operator '~', the '>' operator is used as AND operator (which it technically was before too). The new operators can for instance be used to filter loot in greater detail. It might also be worth noting that conjunctions have higher precedence than disjunctions.

The user documentation will not be updated before release so if something requires a bit of pre release documentation to be tested then please tell me. |

Minor bug or annoying detail found. Go into the configuration dialog and to the pattern set tab and do the following.
1. Apply the CT RaidTracker set with boss kills as events.
2. Clear the event pattern field.
3. Reapply any pattern set that does not define a join/leave event pattern.
That will result in that the old CT RT event pattern is used because changes to patterns are not saved before applying a new one, unless one closes the configuration dialog first.
*edit*
The development builds have been updated with a fix. |

The zone does not seem to be registered correctly when using the new CT RT format and patterns. It is also displayed as "null" instead of nothing when exporting a raid to XML.
Additionally, setting the minimum duration for the collection interval to 0 does not yield the expected results (all collection intervals should pass, but instead they are all blocked).
*edit*
The zone exporting, XML parsing and minimum duration bugs have been fixed. New dev builds have been uploaded. |
