Hi,

I got a question about how to track bosskills (events) when using a strictly time-based zero-sum system!

We are using a time-based zero-sum dkp system with no extra bonuses. But it would be nice to track the bosskills also - just for monitoring raid progress! How should I set up the Parser in order to upload these informations to an EQDKP-site?

Requirements:
Only time and loot is used to calculate dkp.
Bosskills (events) are not to be updated as raids.

Thanks
Rottingham

If the boss kills are not represented as raids in EQDKP, then what do you want them represented as, individual adjustments? That is possible by just using the WoW pattern set for including boss kills as events and then adjusting the server representation.

That was also what I had in mind, but when I use that pattern the parser says it can't find anything usefull in my string!

I am using the 1.25.13 modded version of CT_RaidTracker!

Right now I use the old pattern (0-pattern!) as the new pattern with bosskills - as I wrote above - does not seem to work properly!

I'm going to assume that you meant the oldformat 1 patterns (which are the old patterns). If so then you probably have oldformat set to 0. Try configuring CT RT to use oldformat 0 with something similar to
Code:
/rt oldformat 0

That worked ok! But I did not get anything on the zone and raidprogress trackers!

What can I be doing wrong?

I got my site hosted at dkphost.net, and use the plugins the have listed!

Could you please post a sample string from CT RT?

It seems to work fine for me with 1.4.0c, there was a bug regarding the zone not being picked up correctly in previous 1.4.0* versions, so if you have not upgraded then that might be the problem.

Hmm - I am using 1.4.0c.

Could you attached a copy of your settings for this? Just so I can see the differences! There is nothing updated in the zoneprogress and the raidprogress pages on my site, when I upload the string.

I think we might be talking about different things, I'm talking about the raid name in the reward interface.
