I am really having a tough time getting things configured correctly and was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to share their configuration with me.
I'm using CT_Raidtracker in game.
We are using dkphosting.net to host the EQdkp.
Our reward system is pretty simple:
1 DKP for every hour spent in Raid and 1 DKP for each Boss.
Thats it but I just can not get the configuration correct to make this work.
I know that there is an export/import for configuration files is there anyone who will export theirs with a similar setup and let me start by working with that?
Thanks you so much for anyone who would be so kind.

If you're using approximative join/leave mode (the default) then this can be accomplished by for example setting the reward interval size to "30" and the default DKP bonus per participant to "0.5". If you're using exact join/leave mode then a similar effect can be accomplished by settings the added participant bonus per minute to something close to 1/60.

Altering the event format will have this effect. Setting the "0" in the end of the format to "1" will give a default reward of 1 to every event (e.g. boss kill if the pattern is set to trigger on those). So for example
should be changed to
.

OK I'm getting closer. I have added in your suggestions as well as telling it the file was text and not xml. (doh).
When I process the string though Imm getting an error for the loot string. The error says:
java.util.regex.patternsyntaxexecption: unknown line modifire near index 85:
RaidInfo>Loot>key\d+:ItemName<(.+)>Player<(.+)>Time<(\d+)>Count<(\d+)>"Costs<(-?\d+(?#:\.\d+)?)"?
Im also attaching the text file as a sample of what is happening in hopes of making this easier to trouble shoot. Additionally the current configuration that I have made it to so far.
I really really appriciate you taking the time to answer my questions.

The file is XML though, so that should not be changed.
I see that your log is taken with CT RT oldformat set to 1, but you probably need it set to 0 if want bosses to be tracked. That is changed through WoW with something siliar to "/rt oldformat 0", Parsing the log with "World of Warcraft (CT RT oldformat 0, boss kills as events)" should then work.

Ok everything with the "time per dkp" is fine. When I changed the format to 0 but left everything the same I would get this error:
NO participants found.
I have attached the files below. The oldformat set as 1 and the other at 0.
Next suggestion?
Everything else is perfect.

Olformat 0 and 1 use different pattern sets. You have to switch to the one named "World of Warcraft (CT RT oldformat 0, boss kills as events)".

Hey Lok have a new "issue" i'm trying to solve tonight.
This one could be more CT Raid problems then with the parser but since you seem to know more then anyone I talk to I'm back here.
Attached is the export from CT Raid about our run tonight.
When I import the string into the log parser the points assigned is perfect.
The only problem is that only 13 of the people are showing up. These are the people I know were in the raid becuase I wrote them down. However in the parser they dont show up.
In the file itself they seem to be there.
Desire is one of the names that doesn't show up.
CTRaid issue?

That log seems to be a bit strange. Some people (e.g. glola) join a day before they leave, in fact most people do, but some also leave and rejoin the raid during the subsequent days. The thing is that the parser does not track participation when it crosses over a day separator, so it is then broken up, and the people that do not rejoin during the subsequent days are not registered during those days.
I'm not sure how this log was taken, but I doubt it was actually running for several days in a row (unless CT RT supports not throwing away old raids).

Yeah it does let all the old raids just sit in the file. I wonder if I need to clear out all the old raids.
Thanks again
