Intervals
The left side displays a listing of the participation intervals containing the following details.
- Time
- The start and end times of the interval.
- % (of total)
- The percentage of total time this interval spans.
- Participants
- The number of participants present in the interval.
Joining intervals together
If you select two participation intervals, the Join button will enable. This button creates a new participation interval that is the combined duration of the original pair, the participants are only those characters who were present in both intervals. Attempting to combine two intervals that do not have any common participants will result in an error. You cannot join two intervals that are not adjacent. The reward interval participation will reset its participation based on the new participation arrangements.
Splitting an interval
It's possible to turn one interval into two intervals by using the Split button. Select an interval, and press the 'split' button. After entering a time partway between the start and end points of the currently selected interval, the interval is split into two. The participants in each new interval are set to be the same as the original interval. The reward interval participation will reset its participation based on the new participation arrangements.
Extend Beginning/Ending
The participation period can be stretched by extending the start time and/or the end time. Use the Extend Beginning and Extend Ending buttons and enter a new time that you wish to be the start or end time respectively. The new times need to be outside the current participation duration. To shrink a participation period, you'll need to split a start or end interval with the split time at the new start or end time. Then remove the resulting first or last interval. The reward interval participation will reset its participation based on the new participation arrangements.
Remove First/Last
These buttons remove the first or the last interval. The reward interval participation will reset its participation based on the new participation arrangements.
Participation
The list on the right displays the intersection of the participants present in the selected intervals. So if one only selects one interval then it displays the participants in that interval. If one instead selects two intervals then it shows all participants that occur in both of the selected intervals.
Adding participants
To add a participant to an interval, select the interval you wish to modify, then enter their name in the text box on the right hand side, then press the Add button. The participant can be added to multiple intervals at once by having multiple intervals selected when clicking on the "Add" button. So if one for example has two intervals selected then the member will be added to both of those intervals. The entered name must be in the member list.
Removing participants
To remove participants from the selected intervals, select their names in the participant list, and press the Remove button. Note that it's possible to remove multiple participants from multiple intervals at once. The reward interval participation will reset its participation based on the new participation arrangements.
