Weight

A weight is a property associated with each reward interval set in the reward intervals interface. A large weight makes the reward interval 'heavier' (worth more) compared to other reward intervals with lesser weights which are 'lighter' (worth less). The weights only redistribute the points, they do not create new points or break zero-sum in any way.

Additionally the weights can be configured to affect different types of global DKP.

Example

Weights are commonly used to weight the first and last reward intervals in order to reward people who were there on time, and stayed for the duration. For example a weight of 2.0 means that the interval's participants will receive twice the DKP compared to a reward interval with weight 1.0 .
